John Edwards
Pre-Licensed LMHC
Hello and welcome to Nooma Northwest Counseling. My name is John Edwards, and I am pursuing my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling as a Counselor-in-Training at Liberty University. It is a blessing and privilege to work here at Nooma, where we can address issues and concerns with evidence-based treatments and a biblical perspective. I believe that people are made in the image of God, made by Him for His good purposes: “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” Ephesians 2:10. Unfortunately, we live in a broken world where we experience pain, heartache, and suffering so we may not feel like God’s handiwork or have hope in His plans for us. Relationships can be challenging, memories can be painful, and trying to make sense of it all can be confusing. I would like to provide you with an opportunity to get out of your own head, deal with hard issues in your life, and move forward with a new and hopeful perspective. I am a certified SYMBIS Assessment (for pre-marital counseling) Facilitator, and am prepared to work with those experiencing loss, grief, depression, and anxiety. I look forward to working together.
