Our nonprofit counseling organization is committed to supporting individuals and families with emotional, spiritual, and mental health services that are accessible - regardless of financial limitations.
The true cost of each counseling session is 115$ per session. This amount represents the minimum cost required to keep our doors open, maintain operations, and provide professional counseling services. This cost reflects therapist’s compensation, administrative support, facility expenses, and other essential operational needs.
We recognize that not every client can afford to contribute the full 115$ To support access and uphold our mission, we use a Shared Support Model:
-
Each client contributes/donates what they are reasonably able to give toward the cost of their counseling session.
-
Nooma allocates funds raised through church partnership and fundraising efforts to cover the remaining amount when needed, ensuring the full session cost is met.
For example:
If a client is able to contribute $60 per session, Nooma will use shared support funds to cover the remaining $55 so that the total $115 minimum cost is met.
This model reflects our heart: to walk alongside clients in a spirit of shared support, honoring individual financial realities while ensuring that essential, professional faith-integrated counseling remains available. Every contribution-no matter the amount- plays a vital role in sustaining this mission.
